Who can't use an adorable organizer?

Card organizer

This adorable organizer is great for greeting cards or recipe cards or whatever you might want to put in it.  Birds are all the rage this spring, so it is fitting to use one on this project.  The little birdie and the branch are from the Stampin' Up! On Board So Treat chipboard set.  Chocolate Chip Patterns Designer Series Paper was used to cover the bird.  Whisper White craft ink was used to cover the branch.  Sweet Always Designer Series Paper was used to cover the lunch box tin that was purchased at Hobby Lobby.  The flower stamped image is from the Stampin' Up! Stamp set Good Friend.  You have to check out the cute bird in this set.

If you like all the birds in the Stampin' Up! Spring/Summer Idea Book and Catalog, you need to attend my Stamp-A-Stack Gone to the Birds on Friday, June 5th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.  All the cards that will be created in this class will use bird images from a variety of different styles of Stampin' Up! stamps.  Drop me an e-mail if you would like to attend.

Gotta love this project!

Wow! is what I said when I saw this project on Gretchen Barron's web site http://www.gretchenbarron.typepad.com/.  I had to share it with my stamp club.

We all need a little Sunshine!

I don't know about you, but I am ready for a little sunshine and some warm weather.  This scrapbook layout was featured at my Scrapbook Club this past month.

The Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper used in this layout is Good Morning Sunshine.  The colors featured in this DSP is Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Summer Sun and Chocolate Chip.  I just love the new Stampin' Up! stamp set that we used - Good Friend.  The little birdie is too cute.

The Big Shot was used, of course, for the majority of the flowers. We used the Stampin' Up! exlusive Birds and Blooms Sizzits die.  We also used the Flower Fussion Too flowers (Chocolate Chip flower).

If you look close at the center of 2 of the flowers, you will notice a new Stampin' Up! product.  These Jumbo Brads are 5/8" in diameter.  The ones we used are Chocolate Chip and Silver.  In the package of Jumbo Brads, you also get Very Vanilla and Whisper White.  The Jumbo brads also come in 5/16" in diameter, but they are not as "jumbo" as these.  The new Button Latte button set is used in the lower left hand corner of the first layout.
All materials used are Stampin' Up!

Every summer, my children always enjoy Coyote Kids, a free running program  Club Kokomo Roadrunners  sponsors.  It runs once a week for 6 weeks.  Fitness and good health is one of the best things we can teach our children.

Too Cute!

Have you checked out the Stampin' Up! Exclusive Sizzix dies?  If you haven't, why not?  Like the title of this scrapbook page, they are "too cute".

I used the Stampin' Up! exclusive Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die and the exclusive Pennant Bigz XL die.  If you are wondering, the two-tone flowers are from the Stampin' Up! Pennant die.

Check out the close up of the butterflies.

The center flower is from Flower Fussion Too.  These are felt flowers that come in 3 different colors and various sizes and shapes.  In this set, the three colors are Pink Pirouette (shown above), Baja Breeze, and Chocolate Chip.  The center of this button is one of Stampin' Up!'s new Corduroy Buttons.  Shown above is Chocolate Chip.  They come in 6 different colors.

Scrapbooking Paradise!!

Everyone deserves a little slice of paradise.  For us scrapbookers, Cherished Moments Craft Hideaway, located in Kokomo, IN,  is our little slice of paradise.  A few weeks ago, friends and I spent the weekend scrapbooking, relaxing, and enjoying some girl time in a beautifully renovated farm house.

The gang hard at work

The crop room is awesome.  If you need to take a break from scrapbooking, you can rest in the parlor.

The gang at the hideaway

Treated like the true Scrapbook Queens that we are, all of our meals and snacks were provided for us.

Dining room 2

I got a lot of pages done while I was there.  Here is one layout that I created.

This layout features the beautiful Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper - Urban Oasis and the Designer Hardware Soho.  All materials used in this layout are Stampin' Up! To purchase any materials seen in this layout or in any project on my blog, drop me an e-mail or click on the link at the top right.

In October, I ran in the Indianapolis Half Marathon.  This was only my second half marathon.  My first was 10 years ago - before kids.  So, you can say that this was my first half marathon after kids.  My next half marathon is in May - the 500 Festival Mini Marathon!

Over the next week or so, I will be sharing other scrapbook layouts that I created while I was at Cherished Moments Craft Hideaway.  If you are wanting to get away with the girls or by yourself, check this place out.  You won't be disappointed!!

Love that Upsy Daisy!

I couldn't use this Stampin' Up! stamp set enough when it first came out last August.  Uspy Daisy is still one of my favorites.

Upsy daisy gray and riding hood

Basic Gray and Riding Hood Red are the two main colors used in this creation.  After the flower image was stamped, I moved the stamp just a hair and stamped the image without re-inking.  This gives the tone-on-tone color.  Riding Hood Red Patterns Designer Series Paper used is in the background.  All materials used are Stampin' Up!
